Day 3 of the 30 paintings in 30 days. This is another resurrection of a painting that never quite got completed. I worked on it and am reasonably happy with the results. Nice to get it out of my incomplete file.

Second day of the challenge. I thought because of time I would ressurrect a partially completed watercolor painting that has been sitting around for a very long time. I can tell I have been neglecting my watercolor skills so this is a good way to do it.

Congratulations to the new owner. This is one of my very favourites. It just seems to glow.

New show at Scotia Place. Downtown Edmonton. Alberta Oil Painters. New works by Margaret Klappstein, Cindy Revell, Tracey Mardon, Anne McCormick, Susan Abma, Michelle Ross, Shairl Honey, and Susan Box. Lots of new landscapes. As well as portraiture work and mixed media.

An exciting show. Full of color and new approaches. Truly imagination gone wild. I am exploring more in color and have been readin Stephen Qiller's books. Very helpful. I plan on continuing my quest into simple palettes with a contemporary look.
